Éadaoín Lynch is an Irish writer & researcher based in Fife, Scotland.
From 2024-5, they were writer-in-residence with Typewronger Books and the Lavender Menace Archive, where they co-authored the riso zine Remember how you are liberated with Zosia Kuczyńska.
In 2024, their poem ‘Brogue’ was Commended by Raymond Antrobus in the Magma Poetry Competition.
Their poetry pamphlet Fierce Scrow launched with Nine Pens Press in 2022.
Éadaoín is currently writing their debut novel.
Their poetry and criticism has appeared in leading publications including the Times Literary Supplement, Gutter, The North, and fourteen poems. Their work has also been shortlisted for the London Magazine Poetry Prize (2016) and the Jane Martin Poetry Prize (2014 & 2016).
Re·creation, their Creative Scotland-funded project with Alycia Pirmohamed, provided mentorship, feedback & publication opportunities to nearly 30 LGBT+ poets across the UK. The anthology launched with Stewed Rhubarb Press in 2022.
Éadaoín has judged a number of poetry competitions, including the Scottish Book Trust New Writers Awards in Poetry, the StAnza Poetry Slam, and, in 2024, the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award.
Previously Co-Chair of the StAnza Poetry Festival Board of Trustees (2022-5), Éadaoín is now the Research & Evaluation Manager for Scottish Book Trust.
