Éadaoín Lynch is an Irish poet & researcher living and working in Edinburgh.
Their debut pamphlet, Fierce Scrow, launched with Nine Pens Press in 2022.
From December 2024-May 2025, they are a writer-in-residence with Typewronger Books, creating original poems in response to materials from the Lavender Menace Archive.
In 2024, their poem ‘Brogue’ was Commended by Raymond Antrobus in the Magma Poetry Competition.

Previously lead & co-editor for the Re·creation project, they are the Research & Evaluation Manager for Scottish Book Trust, and a Trustee of the StAnza Poetry Festival.
In 2024-5, they are also project mentor on the ACE-funded Eff-able Anthology, co-edited by JP Seabright and George Parker.
Eff-able is a project in two parts – an anthology of poetry from the best contemporary poets identifying as queer and disabled, and a touring showcase of this work.
Éadaoín has been a judge for many poetry competitions, including the Scottish Book Trust New Writers Awards in Poetry, the StAnza Poetry Slam, and, in 2024, the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award. Their own poetry has also been shortlisted for the Jane Martin Poetry Prize and the London Magazine Poetry Prize.
